Terms and Conditions (Refer a Friend Scheme)

The terms and conditions of the Refer a Friend Scheme (“Terms and Conditions”) and IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam’s general terms and conditions (“General Terms and Conditions”) which apply to all of IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdams products and can be viewed at https://www.intercollege.nl/terms-and-conditions. Both terms and conditions apply to the Refer a Friend Scheme offer and to the sale of any IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam BBA courses, and MBA courses offered at Inter College Business School Amsterdam (“Course”).

Please read the Refer a Friend Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing the relevant course and print off a copy for your personal records. IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam will not keep a copy of the agreement and will not be able to provide a copy of the concluded agreement at a future date. Please ensure to keep your own copy to avoid any issues should you need to refer back to the agreement at a later date.

By redeeming the offer and ordering a course, you are confirming your agreement and will be bound by the Refer a Friend Terms and Conditions as well as IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam’s General Terms and Conditions.

Please ensure you are familiar with both sets of terms and conditions before ordering a course, so that there are no issues at a later date.

In these Terms and Conditions, “IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam” means, IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam located at Passeerdersgracht 23 1016 XG Amsterdam.

Conditions of offer:

1. The offer means students will be entitled to 1.000 EUR if they refer a friend to enrol on any course and that friend enrolls and begins the course at IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam within 12 months of the referral.
2. The offer is only available in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and to students who are an existing IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam student, or alumni. Please be aware that the referred friend’s details will be verified by IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam prior to any money being awarded. You must also ensure you have the consent of your referred friend prior to referring them to IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam.
3. The offer may be redeemed for courses at IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam in Amsterdam.
4. The student will only be eligible to receive the 1.000 EUR once the referred friend has enrolled and paid their fees.
5. The offer does not include any other discount or financial benefit to students or the referred friend and does not apply to amounts payable to the professional body for student/delegate registration, exemptions and examination entries.
6. The offer is made subject to the availability of the courses running on the scheduled dates.
7. Redeeming the offer assumes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and the General Terms and Conditions. Students may be required to provide written acknowledgement of acceptance of these Terms and Conditions before redeeming the offer.

Redeeming the Offer

1. The offer commences on 01/12/2020 at midnight (“Start Date”).
2. Subject to paragraph 12 of these Terms and Conditions, the offer expires on 30/12/2022 (“Closing Date”).

4. Students must quote reference, “IC Refer a Friend” and provide full name and contact details of the referred friend (including telephone number and email address), when making their booking.
5. Subject to availability, the referred friend may book a course in relation to any dates available at the selected centre on condition that their offer to purchase the course has been accepted by IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam and confirmed in writing by the closing date or (if earlier) before the offer is withdrawn.
6. The offer can only be redeemed against a new qualifying booking onto the course from a referred friend who has not already booked a place on the course.
7. Students and the referred friend cannot use this offer in conjunction with any other discounts or offers by IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam for the courses.
8. The offer is non-transferable by the student or referred friend (either to another student or to another course run by IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam) and no cash alternative will be offered.

Amendments/cancellation

1. IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam’s standard cancellation and deferral terms will apply to the course as set out in the General Terms and Conditions. Should any refund or credit note be due to a referred friend, the value of such refund or credit note will be the amount of fees actually paid by the referred friend. Should a referred friend choose to defer the start date of their course in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions, the offer will not apply to the rebooking of the deferred course and additional course fees may be payable.
2. If, after redemption of the offer, a referred friend cancels their booking for the course, then the offer will no longer be available to the student (even if still generally available to other students).
3. IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time without notice. IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam may update or amend the offer, these Terms and Conditions and/or the General Terms and Conditions from time to time to comply with law or meet changing business requirements without notice to the student or referred friend. Any updates or amendments will be posted on the IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam website at https://www.intercollege.nl/terms-and-conditions

Data protection

1. IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam will process the information it receives from the student or referred friend or otherwise holds about the student or referred friend in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, the General Terms and Conditions, and its privacy policy, which is available at Privacy Policy | IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam.
2. In the event that a student or referred friend does not wish to receive correspondence from IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam or any member of the IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam group of companies, the student or referred friend should email IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam at richhooff@intercollege.nl or write to the IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam’s Director at Inter College Business School, Passeerdersgracht 23 1016 XG Amsterdam.

Miscellaneous

1. IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam is not liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation to students or a referred friend that is caused by any circumstance beyond IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam’s reasonable control or by any act or omission of any third party. Inter College Business School shall not be liable to any student or referred friend for any financial loss arising out of the refusal, cancellation or withdrawal of any offer or any failure or inability of a student to redeem the offer for any reason.
2. These Terms and Conditions and any non-contractual obligation arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and IC University of Applied Sciences - Amsterdam, students and any referred friend irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts with regard to any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions and any non-contractual obligation arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
